Website Transformation

After 24 years as The Open University of Hong Kong, the institution officially became HKMU on September 1, 2023. This project aims to develop a new website that effectively reflects the university’s confirmed brand identity. Our focus is to enhance the visual appeal and user experience, providing prospective students and current members with a user-friendly platform.

WordPress Multi-site Solution

We transitioned to WordPress for easier management and streamlined content editing, starting entirely from scratch for optimal performance. Our team also managed comprehensive data migration to ensure all important information was retained. To differentiate various faculties, we implemented a “multi-site” setup, allowing each school to have unique themes and colors while maintaining a cohesive look and feel across the site. This ensures branding consistency while catering to the specific needs of each faculty.
